Therapy & Services

Thoughtful therapy, grounded in what you need.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, family systems, mindfulness-based approaches, and other evidence-informed practices. My training gives me a strong foundation, but I don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all.

We’ll consider what you’re facing, what you want to change, what has and hasn’t worked before, and what approach makes the most sense for the work in front of us. Sometimes that means following a structured treatment model. Sometimes it means integrating approaches. The goal is not to fit you into a particular therapy—it’s to use sound clinical judgment to determine what is most likely to help.

Each service page below explains the approaches I use for that area of work, who they may be appropriate for, and what treatment can look like.

Service questions

What people ask about treatment here

Do you provide comprehensive DBT in Tampa?
No. This practice provides DBT-informed individual therapy, which uses DBT skills and strategies within individual sessions. Comprehensive DBT additionally requires a weekly skills training group, between-session phone coaching, and a therapist consultation team. If comprehensive DBT is indicated, referral options can be discussed.
What kinds of trauma treatment do you offer?
Prolonged Exposure (PE) is the primary trauma protocol offered — a structured, evidence-based treatment for PTSD that gradually reduces avoidance through imaginal and in-vivo exposure.
Can therapy address substance use and mental health at the same time?
Yes. Substance use and emotional or trauma-related difficulties are treated together, with sequencing based on safety and what is workable. Both harm-reduction and abstinence-oriented goals are supported.
Do you supervise registered interns in Florida?
Yes. Florida qualified supervision is offered for registered interns working toward licensure, along with consultation for licensed clinicians.

Not sure which approach fits? That's what the consultation is for.

We'll talk it through and decide together — including whether another clinician would serve you better.
